Ted Lattimore, former Vodafone Chief, is coming back to Romania. Find out why here.

Ted Lattimore, former MobiFon CEO (Connex – presently Vodafone Romania), is coming back to Bucharest on November 17th to talk about his strategic vision and business outcomes at the first edition of the Enlightening conferences, organized by Expo Media.

In the last four years, Lattimore was CEO and chairman of Carmanah Technologies Corp, a company founded in 1996 which produces and distributes signalling and lighting products that run on solar energy. The manager moved on from this position halfway through this month.

With over 25 years of experience in entrepreneurship and mobile telecommunication management, Lattimore is part of the elite few individuals who launched the industry in 1985 in Canada. In the early 2000s, Lattimore became the CEO of MobiFon (Connex – presently Vodafone Romania) and ran the company until November 2005, when he was succeeded by Liliana Solomon. He retained various management positions in several Canadian telecommunication companies.

His keynote, “Strategic vision and business outcomes” will open presentations and discussion at the conference.

Among the other renowned speakers are Robert Murray – executive VP for North America at Faronics Corporation, Kevin Heaney – Sales and Marketing VP at Endurance Wind Power, Ada Roseti – Channel Director for Eastern Europe at Discovery Networks CEEMEA, Sergiu Neguș – Deputy Director General at Regina Maria and Cătălin Velescu – Director General at 3M Romania.

Among the themes they’ll be approaching during the conference are building the right strategy in a continuously changing business environment, how to innovate and be competitive enough to win over the customer’s emotional and rational sides and how to be an authentic leader.
